All Isabel Pierre diamonds are created in Europe, with a personal process and quality control from creation to client. Casting the gold, soldering, polishing and diamond setting are handled with the utmost care and precision by our exceptionally skilled artisan professionals, ensuring the highest possible quality and durability.
HUMAN MADE DIAMONDS
Lab-Grown Diamonds are genuine diamonds and have the same physical, chemical, and optical properties as mined diamonds.
MANUFACTURING PROCESS
Growing gemstone quality diamonds is a process that required decades of research, trial and error. Today, the two most used methods are High Pressure High Temperature (HPHT), and Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD).
HPHT uses enormous pressure cookers, where graphite is added to small diamond seeds, heated to 1500°C and pressurized to almost 70,000 times the pressure at sea level. The graphite is melted into liquid carbon and cooled into a diamond crystal.
CVD uses vacuum plasma reactors, where hydrocarbon gas is added to this diamond plates. High power microwaves break up the molecules of the gas, and the carbon atoms deposit onto the diamond plates, vertically growing the diamond atom by atom. CVD diamonds undergo an additional step: they are subjected to extreme pressure to ‘compress’ the diamond, improving its quality, color and light performance.
